Joshua Moyse, President is a director who earned a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and a MFA from California Institute of the Arts.  He served on the selection committee for Robert Redford’s Sundance Theater Lab. He is a member of Lincoln Center Theater Director’s Lab. He is an associate artist of the Echo Theater Company. Josh produced the award-winning documentary Katrina Cop in the Superdome. Blood Rites, a feature film that he wrote and directed, received worldwide distribution. He has taught at Landmark College, Center for Digital Art, Marlboro College and California Institute of the Arts.  He is the founder and director of Shoot The Moon Theater in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Jennifer Moyse, Secretary  spent two decades dancing and performing in musical theater, film and television. She has a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and currently holds a degree in nursing from Vermont Technical College.  She has managed arts organizations since the early 1990’s, beginning with Roots & Branches Theater and progressing to several dance studios in the Los Angeles area before becoming director and owner of Brattleboro School of Dance from 2012-2018.

Serenity Wolf, Treasurer, is a Civil Engineer with Stevens & Associates.  Through her occupation and her volunteering, she strives to grow and develop the community. As a native of Brattleboro and an alum of the Brattleboro School of Dance, she knows first-hand the value of providing dance education opportunities.

Patti Burke is a results oriented professional with 35 years experience in administration, management, & financial sales at IBM Corp & IBM Global Financing. A team leader with experience leading multi-national teams, she possesses excellent skills in lease structuring, sales, and process development.  She has served as a board member of a K-8 private school from 1998 to 2001 in NY and, while in VT, served on the governing board of a local church for several years including serving as their treasurer for 3 years.   A student of dance for most of her life, Patti was a student at BSD and other studios in the tri-state area for many years and served on the board of the Company of Muses since its inception.

Holly Johnson has been associated with the BSD since 1985 as a choreographer and performer, as well as teacher of tap, modern, jazz, and most recently, ballet. Her professional affiliations have included Stage One Theater Co., Boston; Fusion Dance Studio, San Diego, CA; and her own former company After Image, Boston. She holds a master’s degree in dance therapy and has worked in creative arts therapies for more than 20 years. Prior to her BSD affiliation she performed in the Boston and San Diego areas, as well as in Copenhagen, Denmark while in residency with the Mermaid Theater.

Kathi Keller founder of BSD, holds a BA in child development and psychology and an MA in education and has been teaching for 26 years. She has studied at the New York and Atlanta Schools of Ballet, Alvin Ailey’s American Dance Center, and with such artists as Elizabeth Serbon, Erick Hawkins, and Twyla Tharp.   Kathi still returns regularly to teach, choreograph, and costume for classes and shows.
